  1. I would say not to long only a few mins enough to thank everyone and tell your new wife how wonder full she looks etc.

All the best for the wedding and hope you both are very happy for many years to come.

  2. Hi. I have had the same problem like you just a week ago. I come across http://www.groomspeechtips.com and bought their guide. They say to keep it short, 5 minutes max. Their tips also helped me to overcome my fear of wedding speech. I’m glad I have this behind me. Hope I helped and don’t worry, everything will be fine.

  3. I would keep it at the max. 5minute mark.

  4. 3 mins tops. not even 5 mins. you and the bride will write thank you’s after the wedding, so you can thank your parents and guests then. in fact there’s no reason for the bride or groom to do a speech at all at the wedding since you’ll be greeting each guest individually either during the receiving line after the ceremony, or at each table before or after dinner at the reception.

  5. Say what you need to say. i would keep it short enough to hold peoples attention, but long enough to be sincere. I mean, speak from your heart, don’t fuss on a time limit.
